"This Song is Not Available" for half of all songs

Numerous common songs that are definitly on Spotify do not allow me to play them. I am using a Windows computer and have Spotify Premium. While some songs work, half of all songs that appear available report, "This song is not available. If you have the file on your computer you can import it." Tried to uninstall and reinstall, nothing changed
