Adding friends/finding

I have an apple 7plus. My Facebook is linked to my account. Everytime I search anyone nothing comes up. No search results. Nothing no Facebook friends found. People can find me but I can’t search anything. I have gone they chat and they have done everything to troubleshoot it. We even made new account switched my premium over. I have never used Spotify and I have been dealing with this now for 5 hours with no results I’m getting very upset please please help😭 I even tried adding them by the search bar with the user name the chat lady gave me and still brought no results up. I’m so upset that I’m paying for something that doesn’t even work!
