Bug uncovered - unable to stream tracks I own when those tracks are unavailable

Background: I have a duel boot (linux and windows) laptop computer and an external harddrive.  When at home, I plug into the harddrive to access my music collection.  When I am away, I depend on internet streaming.

I am unable to stream those tracks which spotify has established as being on the harddrive.  I can click on the track, but it will not play.  There's no error message.   Ideally I should be able to stream the tracks if they're not available.

This problem follows me over to my linux Spotify program, so I'm certain the profile created on what tracks I own is on the server rather than my machine.

Ah, I found the solution.  Click on the 'Local Files' tab, right-click on the file and 'unlink'.  I'd like to make the suggestion that there be some sort of error message dialog that would clarify what's going on, though.
