Cannot Run Spotify on Ubuntu 15.04

Hi,

I've just installed the spotify linux client on my Ubuntu 15.04, but I can't get it to run. This is the error message I get:

Cannot mix incompatible Qt library (version 0x40806) with this library (version 0x40801)

Can anyone give any advice on this?

Which spotify version is this exactly you installed?

A quick search on the web gave for that error msg e.g. these, could you try out some of the suggestions from there? Though, they are for an older Ubuntu, but who knows, could help...

I've just installed spotify today, so I'm assuming it's the latest version. It is Version: 1:0.9.17.1.g9b85d43.7-1

I had already tried the suggestions at those links, but they didn't help. Perhaps they're related to that genymotion software.
