Client window title no longer updates to track playing now, gets stuck

I assumed the new client does not update the window title anymore, but after being idle for almost a day it gets stuck on a particular title. It resets to "Spotify" after restarting the app.

can confirm. this has long been an issue on Linux, even before the newest update. as OP states the only way to revert is to restart the app.

Can confirm that this has been an issue ever since I started using the Spotify Linux client in July.
