Discover has No Suggestions, Can't Tell I've Been Listening to Music

Whenever I access the Discover tab it always tells me to "listen to something [I] love", and it will add suggestions. I've had spotify for about a week now, and it has yet to suggest anything. Is this a glitch, or is there something that I'm supposed to be doing?

I'm running on an ASUS Chromebook, with a Linux OS. I only use the Spotify Web Player app at play.spotify.com.

until someone replies, here another way to get discoveries:

1. get a lastfm account

2. activate scrobbling in options

3. add the last.fm app in spotify:

there you see recommended albums

or it can also make a playlist of suggested songs to the current one you are listening

I have the same problem. I have been using the web player, the iPhone app and the Windows desktop app for a week or so, and discover hasn't recommended anything yet.
