Apologizes everyone I tried to provide quick links to Spotify music service profile pages, but the coding on the board has dramatically changed now. You will have to copy and paste the profile URI's and paste them into the search box in the desktop app and hit enter to go to those profiles.
Edited to change the URI's over to HTTP links instead. Note if you want them to open in the new desktop app just copy and paste them into the search and hit enter on the keyboard.

Anyone can add to the thread as before.
@JayLB Thanks for the URI's
With the latest version since 1.0.1,.in any external sites, all the old links based on the Spotify URI don't open directly in Spotify.
Only the embed play-button works.
That's why I had to modify all the playable links on my site. (adress below)
For those who used the Filtr App in the Spotify service you can get to the profile pages here:
Global Filtr Profile Page - http://open.spotify.com/user/filtr
Filtr US Profile Page - http://open.spotify.com/user/myplay.com
Filtr Sweden - http://open.spotify.com/user/sonymusicentertainment
Filtr Germany - http://open.spotify.com/user/playlists.germany
Filtr Espana - http://open.spotify.com/user/mejoresplaylistsspotify
Filtr Danmark - http://open.spotify.com/user/sonymusicdenmark

Filtr UK - http://open.spotify.com/user/sonymusicuk
Filtr France - http://open.spotify.com/user/iloveplaylists

I think users get the idea, just use the word Filtr in the search bubble and select show all results, and then choose the Profiles option for all Filtr profile pages.
Hello All:
Came across another service mentioned by other users. Since most outside services from Spotify are adding in multi service API's to their websites and will probable end up in a bit of flux for sometime. There is another service that keeps track of Top Albums and Tracks in the Spotify service it is called Topsify:
http://open.spotify.com/user/topsify
Again like the filtr service, Topsify has multiple profile pages based of listening locations. Just do a keyword search for Topsify in the search window and hit enter on the keyboard and look under the profiles section after the search term return.
Hello:
Yeah it should be safe, probable trying to link up your Spotify account with the spotify API they are using so you get the curated recommends they did within the Spotify app when it had third party apps. This is really what the built in third party apps did, link up with your user account and what you listened to so your can get the music picked and pushed to your service account. The well known app services using the Spotify API should be safe, but I would still enquire about recent services not that well known and using the Spotify API for any know issues users might run into though.
Now if you are still a bit wary you might consider using the pitchfork.com media website http://pitchfork.com/ which does not require any service account linking for it to work with the desktop app. The music being reviewed is similar to how the community here is run with built in HTML player buttons, these player buttons will play the content automatically when hitting on a play button when the user has the desktop app open and logged into their account.
Thanks a lot for your help, I'll take a look at the pitchfork website. You're so kind for answering my question.
