My Question or Issue

I have a linux PC in my kitchen with spotify installed. I also have it installed on my linux laptop. Both run the linux desktop client. I connect to the kitchen machine on my laptop using the "devices available" spotify connect functionality. On the kitchen machine i have the large now playing screen open (the screen that is accessible by clicking on the "full screen" button at the bottom right) to show the album art that is currently playing. When i change tracks on the laptop i would expect the large now playing screen on the kitchen PC to update with the track i am currently playing. However it doesn't, instead it just stays on the track you played last locally at the kitchen machine. So basically the full screen now playing screen does not update when using spotify connect from one linux machine to another.
