My Question or Issue

Dear Spotify Linux Team, thank you for the beautiful and nice app. I'm using it every day 🙂

With the latest version you've decided to fix a minimum vertical size of your Browser area
Unfortunately this change ruined my habits to use the app on my 2nd screen.

Here is a screen shoot of the current v.1.1.55.498.gf9a83c60 resized to the minimum possible size: 762 x 624 px

My second screen is 1920 x 550 px.

so I cannot see the play bar

In the previous version of the app I can see my play  bar at the bottom

In the new one - the whole yellow area is out of my screen.

There is a scrollbar in the Blue area - the Browser area but it is irrelevant to the invisible yellow play bar

here is a "selfie" from my laptop with the app positioned and maximized on the 2nd screen

And here is how I need to resize the app on the both screens to have an access to the play bar

My Question

Will you please make the min height of the Browser area 70 px smaller so I can fit your app on my 2nd screen?

Hey @ngoro

An an alternative, could you try if zooming out (ctrl and -) would help getting the controls bar back on screen?

Let me know how it goes 🙂

WOW ! YOU ARE MY SAVIOR!
I can live with smaller the icons and text!
Is Spotify app based on Electron?
Why the browser Ctrl +- worked?

😄

@ngoro

Oh, glad this helped you out!
Spotify is based on Chromium.

Have a lovely day!
