No "upclick" event on profile icons on Linux

I'm on Linux (Ubuntu 12.04) , using the desktop client. If I search for a friends name in the search bar, then click on their profile icon that pop ups, the mouse freezes in the "down" or "clicked" state. I can move it (the mouse) around, but the hand stays on, and I can't click (right or left) anything else. The two ways to get this to stop I've found are: 1) restart unity, and 2) alt+f4, then restart spotify. I have all the unity logs that have almost everything that spotify was doing in them, but I don't see anything about this click in it.

Update: same thing happens on playlist and artist icons at top of search results.

I believe you are experiencing a bug that causes Spotify to override the mouse, and keep mouse clicks and actions. I'll see if I can find the thread...
