No toolbar menu on linux version

I can't zoom in or zoom out because there's no toolbar menu on linux version. And there's no option for it in the options menu.

Correct. Support for menus is missing the linux version. A workaround to zoom in the UI is to use keyboard shortcuts:

Ctrl + to zoom in

Ctrl - to zoom out

If you are having the problem that the UI is tiny because you have a high resolution screen, you can workaround that problem by starting the client with flag force-device-scale-factor, for instance like this:

spotify --force-device-scale-factor=2.0

That is strange. Which version of the client do you run? Type spotify:about in the search box to see the version or check with the version flag in a terminal:

spotify --version
