Offline Song Storage doesn't correspond with the one set on App

My Question or Issue

Hi!

I'm trying to change the directory of the offline downloaded songs to a hard drive partition since my linux is installed on a 240gb SSD and i have almost 40gb of

spotify files.

I've changed the location of the Offline Song Storage of the settings but when I check the download radio button the songs go to /home/lucas/.cache/spotify/Data instead of the folder set on the app (/mnt/HDD Linux/spotify_offline).

How can I make that work?

Obs: The HDD partition is mounted when the system is initialized.

Hey there @LucasMarques

Thanks for reaching out to us about this - we'll be glad to help you out here.

Just to confirm, have you tried a clean reinstall of the Spotify app on your device? We recommend this step as it'll remove the old drivers first and then install the new ones. This tends to solve issues with the app's performance.

Give your PC a quick restart as well before you open the newly installed app. This basic step is very simple, but often overlooked.

Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.
