Overflow since last update on Linux

Hi all,

Since the last update 3 days ago, everytime I user spotifcy desktop on my linux computer, after multiple hours of work without issues, my computer freezes. According to my RAM-monitor, the memory is completely FULL.  Obviously I am not only listening to music while in use, but this problem never happened before the update. Wierdly, it is the exact same issue with the web-client (!).

Also, this is not JUST related to me. 2 other friends of mine also running linux noticed the exact same behaviour on their systems since the last update.

Can anyone please fix this , it is super-annoying and stressfull when you are actually doing work on your computer and you know it might freeze-up randomly on you! I am not familiar with how exactly spotify runs in the background, but from programming point of view I suppose this issue is due to some missing buffer.close() or free() statement...?
