STARRED:: never got converted to ordinary playlist at changeover Lost. Help!

I understand that our starred playlists were converted rrecently to ordinary ones, way down in the list of playlists.
Hate it, but I understand it.
 
My problem is, I was following  a friends "starred" playlist, and that is now the only "starred" I hsve.
My own is gone.
It is not in the "recover playlists" page, for restoring.
It looks like the program that was suoposed to create it at changeover saw there was already one with that name, so didnt bother.
 
This is a catastrophe for me. Many songs only existed in that list.
I used it as my main playlist, all the best was there
recreating it would be a massive task, and many discoveries would never be found again.
 
Please solve this for me, support.
 
I understand this is not official support here, but i can find no way of actually contacting them. Is this all there is?
