Saved cache folder, installed new os, cache folder resets

Saved cache folder, installed new os, cache folder resets

Hi guys,

I read a little bit in the community forum about same problems, but I can just find the "reset location" error.

My problem is, that I switched from windows 10 to ubuntu 15.04 and saved my cache folder on my windows system to an external hdd.

Now I installed ubuntu and spotify. So I copied my saved cache folder to my home directory in ubuntu and changed the preferences of my cache file option to the new location in spotify.

Spotify doesn't recognize this cache folder and its data... my cache folder size was 6 GB. Now it went to 70 MB after I tried to make a playlist available offline. I thought after I click the available offline button in spotify it recognize the cache folder and the songs are instantly available offline. Now I need to download all files again and at the moment I dont have the best internet connection... 😞

Someone has the same error?

Greetings,

Michael
