Segfault on Flush Driver

Hello!

I recently started using spotify on my linux machine (Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS) and the whole player is crashing. This is usually occuring when I'm skipping songs but it also occured once while pressing the green play button. It's most repeatable when I'm on my 'songs' playlist under 'your music' and it seems like it's not occuring when on random other playlists I find on browse. If those songs are in other playlists, it seems to be occuring as well.  This makes me think it could have something to do with songs I have set to download (The 'songs' playlist is set to download on my phone, but I'm not sure whether that translates across to other devices).

This is occuring regardless of whether I launch from Ubuntus interface or the shell. Here's an excerpt from the output when run with sudo.

I can do a strace or anything else if need be!

Thanks,

Re: Segfault on Flush Driver

Spotify
Spotify

Is this still happening?

There was a crash bug that crashed the linux client whenever the client tried to play a local file. If you added your local mp3 collection to Spotify it will play those whenever it can instead of the spotify tracks. Those are of course more likely to appear in "your music".

That bug was fixed in 1.0.42.

Another thing. Never run spotify as sudo. It should not be needed.
