Several accounts showing up when friends want to send me music

When some of my spotify friends try to send me music my user appears two times. I only have one account, but when sending the music if appears on facebook not in my inbox.

How come?

It sounds like you have a duplicate account lurking in the system, they happen sometimes annoyingly.

If you get in touch with the support team directly using the online contact form they should be able to remove the extra ones for you.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
