Skip ”Mix Cut“ tracks in radio

Skip ”Mix Cut“ tracks in radio

I listen to a lot of Trance and the like with the Spotify Linux Desktop client. There I often use the radio with some artist.

This works nice, except that a lot of the tracks are “Mix Cut” versions. Those are annoying in the context of radio as the individual mix cut tracks. The beginning of the track comes from some other track and it ends abruptly as it fades into the next track. Listening to mix cuts with a whole mix cut album is fine, just listening to them at random in the radio makes no sense.

I would like to filter out all those mix cuts in the radio. Preferably with some text pattern or even with more intelligent metadata. Technically, it would be possible to allow a text filter to auto-skip those tracks in the radio. Since the Linux client is closed source, I cannot add that feature myself. So I ask you to think about this and implement this feature.
