Spotify automatically changes the offline songs location on Linux

Spotify automatically changes the offline songs location on Linux

Hello,

I am currently running Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS on my desktop. I changed the default storage location (/home/username/.cache/spotify/Storage) because I wanted to save my library on another hard disk partition. Although this location works at first (no problem at downloading songs), every time I reboot my PC the location changes to the default one, and I lose all my offline content (even if I change the location back to the old one, it still downloads again every song).

I should mention that the partition in which I am trying to save my library is formatted in NTFS. Is this the cause of my issue?
