Spotify behind a corp proxy that replaces the SSL cert

Spotify behind a corp proxy that replaces the SSL cert

I'm using the Linux Spotify desktop client. As of today, I'm behind a proxy that effectively performs a MITM by replacing the SSL cert. Not sure if this is the reason, but Spotify stopped working.

Web player doesn't work because WebSocket handshake times out, even though WebSocket test page says it's working fine for me...

Is the desktop client also depending on WebSockets or not?

Where does the Linux desktop client look for SSL certs?

Any ideas?
