Spotify crashes on start. Icon showing in the dock/launcher.

Hi everyone, I'm using Ubuntu 18.04 and I'm new to Linux. I installed Spotify using the Ubuntu Software app. It installed successufully, but when I try to open Spotify, it just hangs. However, the Spofify icon shows up in the dock/launcher. Pressing on it doesn't do anything and I have to right-click and select Quit to get rid of it. Another method that I tried was via command-line using Snap. It installed with no problem, but I have the same problem there. Here's the output: Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "gail" Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "atk-bridge" Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module" I also tried installing as a Debian package. Here's the output: Gtk-Message: 20:24:58.437: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module" Please help me get Spotify to work as I've tried everything suggested in other posts. Thank you!
