Spotify pauses on Ubuntu when screen turns off

Hi,

I'm still having this issue. The Spotify client on Ubuntu pauses playback as soon as the screen goes blank. The computer doesn't suspend, just the screen turns off. If I used the Web Player, this didn't happen, even when the screen goes off.

I thus used the Web Player as a fallback up to now, but it started to fail with an error saying me to retry later and no matter how much times I reload, the error now persists. I just reproduced the error and tried with the application, and that works, so this is not the Spotify service or my Internet connection, otherwise I guess it would pause/stop/fail no matter how I access it.

Note that it's been literally half an hour I'm trying to post and just getting errors, errors and errors. I am becoming mad to the point I will just unscubscribe to Spotify if this go on like this.
