Thumbs up breaks radio station

running the latest archlinux using the aur spotify build which is based on

http://repository.spotify.com/pool/non-free/s/spotify/spotify-client_0.9.11.27.g2b1a638.81-1.deb

The issue is:

after clicking thumbs up the station breaks and can't be resumed. The track upvoted is stoped, the UI advances to the next track, but nothing is played.

Restarting the station by starting a new station based on the same track, skips tracks

Suppose I was at track no. 40 which I upvoted. playback of track no. 40 is stopped, the ui advances to track 41 but the station can't be resumed.

After starting the new station the playback is resumed from track no. 43 (Skipping 40, which i upvotes, 41 which was then shown and 42 some other track which would have come next I guess....)
