[UBUNTU] Can't save music to a External Drive

My Question or Issue

 I am trying to save all my music to my SD CARD for Offline Music Streaming because my main hard drive is only 16 gb.

Having 2 problems.

1. Every time I open Spotify I've to download the music again, so what is the point? This is really frustrating. 

2. Is there a way to move the cache folder to my SD CARD? If I download the music to my external storage I always use storage on my main hard drive for the cache. So again, this is stupid since I'm trying to save some spaces by downloading my music to my SD CARD.
