My Question or Issue

Error: Spotify can't play this right now. If you have the file on your computer you can import it.

I tested two installations: by "snap" and "apt-get" (same error).

Who can help me, please?

Best regards.

Me too! I had a Ubuntu install on my SSD, and not working at all...

Any news?

Hi!
So, in other post, the solution was installing via this instructions: https://www.spotify.com/us/download/linux/
I think that the snap and apt-get version has some problems yet...

The post that I see the solution: https://community.spotify.com/t5/Desktop-Linux/Ubuntu-20-04-1-Crashes-when-quot-add-source-quot-for-...

Hi.. thanks for your answers.

I tried

curl -sS https://download.spotify.com/debian/pubkey.gpg | sudo apt-key add -
curl -sS https://download.spotify.com/debian/pubkey_0D811D58.gpg | sudo apt-key add -
echo "deb http://repository.spotify.com stable non-free" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/spotify.list

 and...

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install spotify-client

but it shows the same error.. =/
