Ubuntu gets frozen when I run spotify

My Question or Issue

 Hello to all members! I wish to thank you all for your great effort! Im very happy to be able to use spotify while Im working with my new Ubuntu 18.

But, it is also true that when I run spotify with firefox and a couple pdf files my ubuntu gets frozen and even the keyboard were not responsive forcing me to power down the entire computer...this smells like a hardware issue, but anybody has experienced this bug running multitasks while using spotify?

when you launch it from terminal, does it give any errors?
