Why exist a button "Change Location" if we are stuck into /snap filesystem ?

Hello there,

I'm trying change my cache location in a 17.10 Ubuntu box, with no luck at all.

Using the GUI of spotify, we can click in "Change Location" button, and choose any location... INSIDE OF THE F*****K /snap filesystem, OR inside your $HOME.

Tried do a symlink, the app do not follow him (Windows users has more luck than us on that).
