can't login from a linux desktop

Spotify application was working normally on my Ubuntu but all of a sudden everytime I try to log in, I receive this error, "The email you entered has already been registered, but your account hasn't been confirmed yet". I have been a premium member for a long time and it works normally on my Android phone.

I have already tried to uninstall and install Sptofiy again but no luck.

Try to also clean config/cache from your home directory and reinstall, like this:

I don't think this will help though. Some other person had the same problem and Spotify support checked the account and managed to help:

You can also just try to login to the spotify website (different from these forums) and see if you can see something. Maybe it says something about your e-mail address.
