failed to fetch data on raspbian

I have tried multiple times now to run the command required to download spotify on my raspberry pi. 

however the error failed to fetch data keeps coming up.

any tips for a linux noob?

Unfortunately, the instructions on https://www.spotify.com/download/linux/ are quite bad and the error message from apt is also quite confusing.

The Spotify desktop client only runs on Intel x86 processors. ARM processors (which are in all Raspberry Pi devices) are not supported. It might be in the future, but there are currently no plans.
