local files as a solution to huge playlist imports?

importing huge playlist files is a pain on spotify, it's nearly impossible (I have all the tracks on a hard drive)

i tried various options, but they are all suboptimal

now I was trying to work trough local files

it would be wonderful if, instead of playing the local files from your hdd, spotify would use the tag information on local files to make it possible to create and match with spotify songs and thus create true spotify playlist from folders/drives on your local machine

Is this possible with the current version? cuz now it just plays the local file I think...
