1.0.6 - No notification badges on playlists (but search is back!)

YAY, playlist search is back! But there seems to be a problem with playlist notifications, at least the badges that display the number of updated tracks.

I still get the notifications in the upper right corner, but not by the playlist itself.

playlist search is back??

I have 1.0.6.80.g2a801a53

still not there

im on mac. not working still for mac?

I'm on mac, and it works fine.

Clicking album art seems to jump to the right track even on a sorted column again but if you filter the playlist with Ctrl+F the click album art to jump to track breaks. You have to click another playlist and come back to it for Album art jump to work again.

Figured out the bug in 30 seconds of testing. How is QA so bad?

I have the latest update with no CtrL+F bar. Does anyone have the mac upgrade link for manual reinstall?

Hello there,

You surely got the version where it needs to press ctrl/cmd + F first to make the filter box appear at the top of the playlist

I think in the past it went to the album page of the current playing song, but it doesn't in the new version.

Could you confirm exactly the steps of what you are trying to do?

1. Go to a playlist and play a song.
2. Click on the album-art, it goes to the track.
3. However if you filter the same playlist AND THEN click the album art, it won't go to the track?

If so, the tech team said that this is intended behavior. If you have a filter, only the content from the filter is shown.

Let me try to make it more clear.

If I play a playlist that is not sorted by any columns and click the album art it jumps to the correct track - as intended.

If I sort that same playlist after it's already playing and click the album art it jumps to the correct track - as intended.

If I play a playlist that was already sorted before playing it, then click the album art, it jumps to wrong tracks in the playlist - not working as intended.

You can replicate this by:

  1. Sort Playlist A by artist column
  2. Play a different playlist (Playlist B)
  3. Now play Playlist A that was previously sorted in Step 1
  4. Clicking album art will not jump to correct track any more in Playlist A. Also the album art sometimes doesn't show at all now when done this way in Playlist A.

@Justin35

Thanks for the clarification. I've been able to reproduce this, so I will pass it on to be looked into.
