Adding a song from one playlist to another playlist

My Question or Issue

When I am playing one of my playlists and I want to add a song on that playlist to another playlist, when I click to add to playlist - only  4 playlists pop up to choose from, but I have so many more that that.  

Any suggestions?

Have you created all the playlists you're talking about, or do you just follow some of them?

In order to add songs in a playlist you must be the author of it.

Thank you so much for responding!

I have not created any of the playlists - I just followed them and one of them my husband made for me and sent it to me.

So, when I try to add a song from one playlist ( not created by me) to another playlist (not created by me), I have 4 playlists that show up to add to - which are not any that I created and not the one I want to add to.

I am still learning and trying to figure out Spotify.

Any other suggestions?

Hey @user-removed, welcome to the Community.

Hope you're doing great!

Because only the playlists you made or that are collaborative can be eddited by you, if you follow a playlist created by another person you can't added songs to that playlist, unless it is collaborative.

I made my very first play list of my own, so now I can add songs to add from others:)
