All music stops after 3 or 5 seconds. "Can't play current song"

My Question or Issue

Music suddenly stops and when next song is played, it stops after 3 or 5 seconds and in some time, "Can't play current song " appears. I live in a college.

I have tried the following: 

  • Restart
  • Relaunch
  • Logging in and out. 
  • Clearing Spotify data from ~/Library/Application Support and Caches.
  • Editing hosts file to add Spotify hosts and also removed them.
  • Turned off Hardware Acceleration.
  • Changed my country to India from USA(This was when I was using VPN).

However it works when:

  • I use VPN which uses some US address.
  • I use mobile data hotspot.
  • I use spotify on my iPhone.

Also, this is random behaviour and I cannot reproduce it if asked to.
