All of my albums and artists have disappeared

Hi - I have Spotify Premium and all of my albums and artists have disappeared. They have been replaced by ones that I definitely did not choose.

This happened once before, and I simply deleted all of the new ones, and went back, and added all the ones I used to have manually.

I don't want to go through that again - especially if it's doomed to repeat. What is happening?
