On the iPhone app and web view the albums are still there.
I've cleared the cash files, deleted the app and reinstalled. The only thing that changed is that before I could see all the albums if I changed the sorting to 'Recently Added'.

Just to double check, when you performed the reinstall did you follow the steps here to make sure that all old files that might be causing trouble are gone.
Give your device a quick restart before you start the newly installed app.
In case the issue persists, could you ask a friend or a family member to log in on your computer and test this out to see if they get the same issue?
