Back button does not retain scroll position

Steps to reproduce:

1. Visit an artist page

2. Scroll down and drill into a sub-page e.g. one of the albums / playlists, or the discography section

3. Go back

Expected: I can continue navigating the artist page at the position where I was previously

Actual: The artist page reloads scrolled all the way to the top, and I have to scroll down to get to where I was before

System info:

Mac OS desktop app version 1.1.56.595.g2d2da0de-a

Hey @nguyenbr,

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

This is expected behavior, as Artist pages would try to automatically refresh and re-sync and would open on the top of the page by default.

If you play a given album and continue browsing, you should see the album playing marked with the green Play/Pause button when you go back to the main artist directory. This could help you navigate pages with more info on them.

Hope this clears things up 🙂

If this is the expected behavior, please consider this a feature request. Note that the Home screen does try to retain your scroll position when you click on something and go back (as do most other desktop apps, e.g. web browsers / App Store). I imagine most users are accustomed to this standard which is why it is so jarring.
