Several weeks ago Spotify stopped loading and would go to just a black screen.  I have uninstalled, removed cache, application support folders etc, several times and have not been able to get Spotify to launch.  Currently when I run Spotify I get a black window that can not be moved.  No Spotify specific commands are available in the menu, other than disable hardware acceleration.  I click on that, get a prompt to restart Spotify.  I allow to restart Spotify and get the same result.  I do not get to a log in screen.

One suggestion was to use App cleaner to make sure I am uninstalling it fully, I tried that, no change.  I created another admin user and when I log in as that user I am able to run Spotify and log in.  There are no apps set to load on startup.

I would rather not migrate everything to the new user.  Assistance fixing this one would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hey there @2CCTech,

Thank you for your post here in the Community.

Can you try with another internet connection to see if the issue persists?

Also - can you log in on another device to see if you have the same experience?

It would also be great if you can let us know which version of the app you have.

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Cheers!
