Can't delete spotify local files

Hi,

I am having trouble deleting my spotify local files. Some are available but some are greyed out and I just want to start importing from fresh again.

I have followed the following guides already:

...but nothing works.

My problem is that when I tried to access any of these folders in my file browser I could not find them, so under advaced settings I tried changing the location of the local files on my computer. However, when I went there, there were still no local files.

Even when I follow the guide to unistall spotify, I cannot find the files in caches.

It appears to me that the files are either non-existent, hidden, or are located in some obscure location that will not allow me to find them.

Are my local files stuck forever or is there a way to fix this?

I would appreciate any ideas to fix this.

It is possible that the files are hidden in the finder, are you using High Sierra?

I'm using macOS Sierra, version 10.12.2

Hi there,

Local files are songs that Spotify finds on your computer. As far as I am aware, the only way to stop them coming up on your Spotify is to remove them from your computer.
