Can't log in on desktop client (Facebook login not working)

Hi there,

I use Facebook to log into Spotify. It works on my iPhone and it also worked in these support forums. However, when I try to log into the desktop application on my Mac, it opens a web page saying "Logging in to Spotify", indicates a successful authorization, and then nothing happens on the desktop client. What gives?
