Can't login to my Spotify

I have the Macook Pro OS High Sierra version 10.13.2. I recently downloaded Spotify onto my comupter and when I went to login, it read "Service is temporarily unavailble, please try again later (Error Code: 404)". When I first saw this I just left it alone, assuming it had to do with the internet connection since I was in a hotel at the time on vacation and the wifi was a bit slow. It's been several days later, I'm back home, and it's still not letting me login with the same thing showing up each time I try. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times and restarted my computer more than once. I even tried to login with facebook, but it still doesn't log me in. I don't know what to do. I have Spotify on my iPhone 7, and it works perfectly fine, but on my mac it doesn't allow me to login. Please help!

SAME PROBLEM HERE, HOW DO WE FIX THAT ?

Actually, I created a new account and it will let me sign in on my MAC. The problem is I want my former account to keep my music, why does it do that ? Thanks.
