Cannot Reinstall Spotify After it Stopped Working

Hi there,

My Spotify was working fine on my Mac...however, I haven't been able to use it in about 3+ weeks. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. When I download, it always shows up "incomplete" in my "downloads" and, therefore, I am unable to really do anything with the file I just downloaded. I have no idea what the problem is. Perhaps all of this stemmed from the update? Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

You could try using a different browser to download.

Try a clean reinstall by cleaing the cache files of Spotify to see if this fixes the problem:

Advanced method:

Easy method:
Download this free app cleaner. It's super easy.

http://www.freemacsoft.net/appcleaner/

When you open up the app, search for Spotify and it will automatically find and delete all files on your computer related to Spotify.

I use it all the time and it's a really great tool. If you ever decide to uninstall an app, the best way is to use this tool.

After that, download and reinstall Spotify.
