Cannot drag songs in playlist to change order

Hi,

I cannot drag songs in my playlist to change order. For example, I might want a song at the top of myplaylist instead of at the bottom. Yet when I drag it to the top of my playlist it doesn't move.

I have tried to restart Spotify, it still doesn't work though.

Try dragging it to the second spot then drag the top playlist below it. Quirky but it works for me 🙂

What do you mean? I tried to drag and drop it, it doesn't move. I tried to put it in front of the song after it for example.

Neither can I change the order of playlists in the list.

You need to make sure you don't have the playlist sorted by any of the headings (because then you can't drag and drop).

I don't have them sorted by any of the headings. I even tried sorting them by a header, then resorting them to the normal sorting (without header that will say).

Weird, might be worth reinstalling:

I'll try that.

I fixed mine by ensuring that all of the green column arrows are off, grabbing the LEFT arrow and I was able to move them even with the slashed O (No).

Now it works by grabbing a song name, where before it didn't.

How do you make sure there is no filter/sorter already set?

Make sure that there are no green arrows at the top on the columns.

I came here because of the same reason, and found that grabbing them from the left side of the '+' meant I could move them. Hope that works for you!
