Change default speaker on Mac Desktop app

My Question or Issue

Using the MacOS desktop app of Spotify, is it possible to set the default speaker to Sonos?  Today, the Spotify desktop app always launches with the internal speakers of the iMac and I need to manually switch it to the Sonos ones.

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

Currently there is no way to set a default Connect device which starts playing music. What you can do is start Spotify directly from the Sonos speaker if it has that functionality. 

Another thing you can try is to set the Sonos speaker as default Playback device from your Mac's sound settings.
