Changing the Playlist Cover for Mac Laptops

My Question or Issue

After quite a while, I've learned that changing of playlist covers can only be done in the Desktop Spotify app. If this is not true and there is a way to change it in a MacBook Pro, PLEASE let me know. If it really isn't possible, I would like to ask why..

uh there is click the playlist u want to change theres like a pencil icon if u hover over the cover of the playlist. click it and it will take u to ur documents which then u can select as a cover. look i did it and im on macbook pro

says it failed to save playlist changes. tried in my sister's too. 😞

probably means the image isnt the right size or something, theres a weirdly specific size they have to be, so try different images with different dimensions

i tried resizing it just now but it didn't work
