Clicking album artwork for current song highlighting wrong song in playlist

My Question or Issue

When playing songs in a playlist, if I click the album artwork of currently playing song, I expect Spotify to navigate to the song currently playing and highlight where it is inside the playlist. Currently this is only capable when sorting my playlist by date ascending. If I am sorting my playlist any other way, it will highlight the wrong song.

It either shouldn't highlight any song, or highlight the right song regaurdless of the way the playlist is sorted.

They haven't announced a timeframe for this to be fixed though.
