Clicking on Album Art Doesn't Naviate to the Song in the Current Playlist Anymore

My Question or Issue

Clicking on album art doesn't navigate to the current song in the current playlist anymore. It now opens and closes the "Now Playing" view, which you can already do using the "Now Playing view" button on the bottom right. Getting to the current song in the current playlist was a very useful feature, is there a different way to do it, or bring back the previous functionality?

Thank you for raising this issue! 

This function is one that I consistently use - being able to be directed to the location of the song currently playing within the playlist where it is playing from is a key feature for me.

Previously, the artwork on the right lead to the artist's album (which was a great add)

and the artwork on the left lead to the song's location as it was played by the user,

which now toggles the right panel's artwork / artist info details (instead of just the arrow over the artwork).

Hope this function is restored soon 🙂

Currently, it is still possible to navigate to the current song and the playlist it's in and to do so, you need to open the Now Playing View on the right and on the top, you'll see the name of the playlist. Clicking on it should lead you to the song's position in that playlist.

Thanks Ivelina, I wasn't aware of that functionality! There appears to be some quirkiness with it where it doesn't always scroll to the currently playing track in the playlist. For example, after the first time I click on the playlist name and it navigates to the track, if I scroll away and click the playlist name again, it doesn't scroll to the right place, but instead scrolls to the top of the playlist. Can you check if this is consistent behavior on your end and report it internally as a bug if so?

Yep, this is the current behavior: clicking the playlist's name in the Now Playing View a second time will always bring you to the top. We're always looking for opportunities to enhance the listening experience of our users though, so your feedback on this is greatly appreciated.
