I keep having connectivity issues with my Sony headset and Spotify. Sometimes I get the 'can't play the current song' error, sometimes the app looks like it's working, but no sound is coming from the headset.

 

I notice the following scenario almost always causes the issue. I pause Spotify, go watch a video on Youtube or do conference call on Zoom and return back to Spotify to click play.

 

Hardware Acceleration is disabled, I've reinstalled Spotify, Crossfade is enabled and set to 0 sec.

 

When Spotify is not working all normal system sounds, but also browser (youtube) are working just fine. Reconnecting the headset (enable/disable bluetooth, or turning the headset on/off again) always solves the issue until it happens again.

 

Would be great is someone can help me out, because this issue is really driving me nuts.

 

If more information is required, please let me know. If certain system logs files or whatever, let me know but also where to find them.
