Hi all,
A number of users are experiencing some Spotify issues at the moment - crashing on startup, search not working, etc.
Could you help us out by posting the following info:
-- Operating system(s) affected
-- Version of Spotify
-- Country
Thanks everyone. The more accurate info we can collect the faster we can get this fixed.

Hey, here's my info:
- OS - Mac OSX 10.8.4
- Spotify - 0.9.1.53.g876fa9df
- Country - U.S.
Crashing within 5 seconds. No crash report being issued. Started today on my Macbook pro 2009 (Intel Core 2 Duo).
In the last few days, Spotify has stopped playing songs several times. Symptoms:
- I start a playlist and a random number of songs will play.
- At the end of a song finishes it will not play any more songs.
- It does not stop on the same song each time.
- Possibly it is waiting for a commercial to play, but none starts.
- I can navigate, open other playlists, or search and get another list of songs to play.
- At this point, when I click on any song, the playback controls at the bottom will indicate that it is playing the song, ie. Play button will be replaced by the pause button.
- I can exit Spotify and restart; no help.
- Also I cannot use Windows Media Player after this. It was not running while Spotify stopped, but after exiting Spotify I tried WMP.

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Mine may have been due to a problem with Spotify and my speaker setup. I have Alesis M1Active 320USB speakers and Windows 7 uses a USB audio Codec. Just now I was using Spotify without problems, then paused for a few hours. When I returned, an audio error was being reported and no music software would work (Spotify, Windows Media Player, Audacity, RealPlayer). I unplugged and replugged the speakers and everything works again.
Exactly same as me
Location : Switzerland
Still true Today
Issue persisting till last Wednesday
Cf my initial post.
Country: Finland
Operating system: Windows7
Spotify version: The latest one available
Crashes every now and then and I'm growing increasingly tired of it. No error texts no nothing, just music stopping and spotify crashing.
Hey
Just an update for everyone.
My crashing was eventually solved by a Spotify support person. They needed to go into my account and delete a corrupted play list. After that starup was fine - no crashes.

Hi Richard...
My desktop Spotify - premium has been crashing for about a week now...... OS - Windows 7. Also tried at work on OS Windows XP. Same result.
I use mobile Spotify as well. Able to play fine - tho do get occasional crashes there....but the main issue is on my desktop.
Any help to resolve would be Super!
Thanks, Trey
Same here , Spotify crashes randomly , without any error message.
Windows 7 64 bits

Hi,
I've not been able to use my Desktop Version of Spotify either at home or at work. They both just crash unexpectedly on start up. Both act exactly the same.
I have Windows 7 64bit and I'm using the most recent version of Spofity.
I'm in the UK (England).
I can still use the online player and my phone, but I'd really like to be able to use the actual desktop program.
Any help or advice, or letting me know if I need to post somewhere different, would be great.
Thanks,
George
