Crossfades tracks when set to disabled

My Issue

Tracks are crossfading as if it is set for 30 seconds after an update (update seemed to reset my 0 second crossfade to off) while the feature is disabled. I noticed this months ago and had enabled it with a setting of 0 seconds to workaround the issue. I tried toggling it on and off, but in the off state I was experiencing a 30 second cross fade.

I had noticed this again on my work (macOS) system again, but may have also experienced this on my Windows system at home and just have the workaround in place still.

I knew it was crossfading for 30 seconds when I noticed as a track ended and the next song "started" the next song was already at 30 seconds and there was no silence between tracks. Also how is it 30 seconds when the max setting is 12?

EDIT: Just also noticed when I enable crossfade and set it to 0 seconds playlists still crossfade at the 12 second mark of the next song.
