I'm not entirely sure what you're wanting to achieve but all information relating to spotify is stored in two folders:

~/Library/Caches/com.spotify.Client
~/Library/Application Support/Spotify

This won't remove information stored on Spotify's servers though.

I don't have theese folders or files in my libary.. And spotlight is not showing them either.. can these files be somewhere else?

Mac's OS hides system files by default. Have you changed the settings to show these?

No, I have not. But I hoped that it was an easier way than to show and don't show hidden files..

Have you or someone else tested this and checked if it works? It had been fine before I started, so I don't fool around and messed something up on my Mac

If you could explain exactly what you're trying to achieve, I might be able to suggest another way but, at the moment, I'm struggling.

Easy!

All you have to do is this...

1. Open finder

2. Do Command-Shift-G

3. Copy and paste       ~/Library/Caches/com.spotify.Client       into the text bar.

4. Double-click the "Browser" folder.

5. Do Command-A

6. Do Command-Delete

7. Make sure Spotify is closed completely

8. Click on the trash in the dock

9. Click Empty

10. Ta-daaaaaa! Your search history is deleted!

Hope this helps!
